Happy Halloween

Trick or Treat!

Hello and Happy Half-term and Happy Halloween. I thought I’d pop on and write a little crafty Halloween blog.

I have some lovely smileyhiley craft kits to keep your children busy this half term.  Check them out here.

However, we all have bits and bobs around the house that can be put to good use to create some spooktacular Halloween creations.

Look around your home for empty cartons, toilet rolls, old magazines, egg boxes, paper plates etc.

Let your children use their imagination to make scary masks or spooky decorations or paper chains to decorate your home.

Here are just a few ideas for you and I would love to see what you create – send me your pictures via

Ghost lollipop

What you will need is a lollipop, white tissue, black string or an elastic band and a black felt tip.

Step one:

Cover the lollipop with a tissue.

Step two:

Tie the string around the lollipop.

Step three:

Use the felt tip to make a spooky face.

Ghoulish toilet roll characters

Why not paint empty toilet rolls and add faces to them to create fun halloween characters.

Step one:

Paint the empty toilet rolls

Step two:

Add faces to your toilet rolls

Don’t forget – I would love to see what you create – send me your pictures via
